We’re now almost at the end of August, and getting back into the swing of things as we make changes to accomodate to the ‘new normal’ many pubs, restaurants and cafes have had to adapt to. The support from our customers both old and new has been fantastic, and we can’t thank you enough for continuing to support your local pub and the hospitality industry as a whole.  

We’ve been participating in the governments ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme, allowing diners who eat-in to benefit from a 50% discount, up to a maximum of £10 per person, on food and non-alcoholic drinks, any Monday to Wednesday in August 2020. Diners have been able to take advantage of the offer as many times as they like during the month, and we’ve been inundated with bookings for these days.

As the scheme draws to a close, we’d like to thank our customers who have been supportive and patient during these challenging times.  Our staff have been adapting to new service procedures including table service, increased cleaning and social distancing. 

Though the vast majority of our customers have been supportive of these changes, unfortunately a small minority have not. We politely remind customers that we do not condone abusive behaviour to our staff in any capacity.  Please remember when you visit, you may find service is slightly delayed, some menu items may be unavailable, or you may be asked to wait whilst we clean and prepare your dining area.  

Our staff have been working tirelessly to ensure your visit is as comfortable and safe as possible, we simply ask for your patience and understanding during these challenging times.

We have also experienced a high-number of bookings, especially for the days of which the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme has been running. Although we’re trying our best to accommodate all customers, we have extremely limited availability now until the end of August.  We remind customers to pre-book when possible to avoid disappointment (remember your booking is not confirmed until a member of our team contacts you back), we’ll be continuing to hold some tables for walk-ups on a first come first served basis.

We have a fantastic team who have pulled together to bring your favourite pubs back to life, we really appreciate all our customers who have continued to support us and for their patience and understanding.
